I cleaned this and the heatsink. Took the cpu out, reseated it. Had no paste so tiny bit of paste residue may/may not be smudged onto the chip.

But temps are looking better so far.
 
lol its going upto 103 in games, but better then before at leasts its cooling down. I'll wait for the paste before anymore gaming.
 
Have ordered a coolermaster 212x as well, as the original heatsink fans wire is getting caught.
 
Got the new 212x installed and put new paste on, idles around 35 and load on prime is around 65. All fixed. :)
 
Personally think the chip wasn't fully in now that the HS/Fan is getting it cool and it was able to not reach thermal after reseating. But lack of fresh (applicable) paste likely didn't help either. Good to see it working now.
