Get it calibrated or do it yourself - will most likely sort out your issues
The blacks change over time on the Kuro
I had my brightness on +1 for about 18 months - now I have it on 0.
I can give the charts and results of my calibration - but calibrating a Kuro is so worth the time and money as its like having a new tv
A calibrated Kuro will take some beating - the difference with modern Panasonics - they come near calibrated out of the box so thats why people think they are better - clever
They do have a better greyscale managament systems than the LX range, the same as the KRP range so you can get amazingly low delta levels on the calibration, however mine are all around 1 which is proper anyways
