I formatted my C (boot) drive recently, but when I went to windows it was setup as the D drive and my storage drive is set as the C: drive. Obviously this doesn't really affect anything but it is annoying when I keep selecting the wrong drives.

Is there any way to change this?

To the best of my knowledge no, you cannot change the lettering of the boot drive without a reformat or maybe I should say you can try but the chances are very high you will just mess it up. :)

If you change your Windows drive letter using a 3rd party APP, you will prob kill the install as of all the folders and REG entries go too deep.

Ahh ok thanks guys. Getting another HDD to RAID my boot drives soon so will just format when that time comes.

Cheers for the help :).

you will also find apps installing themselves to your storage drive (C) occasionally as they dont read the system drive letter, instead they statically install to C unless you change it

patition magic can change the drive letters, it will then seek down any references etc to drive letters and swap to whatever you'v changed it too, im not sure how safe it is mind you. At worst you will lose anything installed..so will have to reformat.. worth a shot if you can get a hold of partition magic application
