Hi all. Not been following latest developments on the sad front so though I'd ask here.
Need to increase storage for games on my main system.
Current set up is 3 250GB ssds. OS and apps on dedicated M.2 Intel 660p and games split across other ssds. One 250gb ssd will be staying (pure flight simulator) but as you can see this basically only leaves a single ssd for all my other games.
Board is an Asus MAXIMUS hero Viii z170. Would you go down the route of consolidating and getting a ? 1TB or 500gb nvme (is this even compatible with my board) for os and games or keep the m.2 660p drive for OS duties and just buy a cheapish 1tb traditional ssd for steam/origin?

Either way will be doing full OS reinstall as it's been a couple of years
