Here's a strange question, how do people store HDDs that are not plugged into a PC?
Say I have a hot-swap USB dock that allows me to plug in an HDD and make a backup. I could have multiple drives I could switch in if needed.
This is on the premise the drive needs to be external from the PC and cannot simply be put in a spare enclosure or bay.
Do people generally just keep drives in antistatic bags or whatever container they came in or is there a better and safer way to store them?
I don't think I've ever seen specialized hard drive containers.
