Stranded Deep

I think he was on about the crafted raft. It's bugged at the moment don't use one at all :) you will be half way between islands and all of a sudden it will vanish then when you swim away it re appears but as soon as you get close to it again it vanishes.

Does look pretty good from the few videos I've seen. I'll definitely keep an eye on it because I'm loving these survival games. I've sunk many hours into the forest and the long dark.
 
I wasn't able to craft anything after a while yesterday, I had the needed items for an axe, the building hammer, and the items glowed blue. There was no menu icon anymore, it was fine earlier in the game.

Anyone had this?
 
Would it be beneficial to make a list of construction recipes? actually, upon checking there's only a handful of objects you can make.

EDIT: New game, and there was a ship on my island, had to cut a tree down to get on to the deck, then fell through a hatch and now stuck in side the building.

Yeah, ^^^^ The reason im looking forward to dying light is because it's a " finished game "


I have to say i haven't actually encountered that many bugs on stranded deep, only the wooden raft vanishing beneath me.
 
It has lots of potential!

- Badly need a similar tutorial/guide to the forest, I didn't have a clue what to make or even how to make anything except for the axe
- would prefer to have bigger islands i.e. same sort of size as the one in cast away

Must say though, it is very PRETTY, when the sun was setting, WOW! the colours, etc. was just beautiful :cool:
 
No problem! :)

One thing i will say about this game is i understand the whole idea of keeping it offline however i think this would go fantastically on a plate with 2 - 4 player coop of course making the crafting elements harder and clearly needing upto 4x the amount of food / drink. But i think i would enjoy it like that.

Don't see it happening though :(
