It's called a bald patch, happens with some people - others thin on top all around.

Personally I just shaved it all off, looks better than trying to hold onto a failing hairline.

25 and im starting to go bald, thinning out badly on top and my hair line at the front is quite bad lol, But it does run in the family, Dad was grey at 22 and had a bad receading hair line by 29.

Thankfully ive not gone grey yet.

Stress based alopecia possibly. I had this from the summer of last year until I left my job this summer. It was a very small (about 1cm diameter) absolutely hairless patch at the back of my head.
It began growing back about a fortnight after I left the job and after about two months has completely filled in, altough it is now pepper grey

I have seen someone around with grey hair and is about 17. What causes this?
