Strange question, Phantom Menace...

Indy 4 was awesome! It taught me that if I happen to be in a nuclear explosion I should get into a lead fridge :D

(it was trash, actually...)

I suppose it all depends on how serious you take the movies. For me, Raiders of the lost Ark and Empire Strikes Back are two of my favourite movies of all time and while the other movies after them were not necessarily better (TOD,LC and ROTJ) they were still a good continuation of the theme in a way where they knew and understood what they were doing. With the later sequels (Indy 4 and Ep1,2,3) it seems like they lost touch with what made the original movies so great. I also believe the film crews that worked on the original films are also what made the films so great whereas these days Lucas and Spielberg use almost entirely different crews, which might explain why some of their filmmaking hasn't been quite the same for a number of years.

Anyone got any word on the BluRay release? I been holding off watching in time-line order since the release of Sith.

I want all 6 on bluray at a dirt cheap price, but I bet it comes out at top dollar :/

I've the original three R1 Special Editions, but can't bring myself to buy any of the prequels unless they're in a box set :o

Doesn't anyone think, while a great watch, the light sabre battle between Maul and Obi looks "too" choreographed?

Same really can be said for every other battle, Obi-Wan vs Anakin in Revenge of the Sith especially, and even including the ones in the original Trilogy. I actually really liked the Kendo-style portrayed in A New Hope with old Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, even if it did looked basic.

I always thought they could get away with it cos of the jedi/sith power to have quick reflexes and foresight. The ends of the fights were most disappointing to me, can't help but think they could have used some imagination.

I was hoping a for a new version of TPM where Jar Jar Binks takes a tactical nuclear warhead to the face which would let me watch past the first scene he's in.

This. Personally I was hoping he entails the trust of both jedi so much they give him a lightsaber & he's so bad at swordfighting he chops his own head off. that or he's fed to the hutts. :p :o
