Strange reboot issue

Hi guys,

Wondering if someone could help to try and diagnose a strange issue (spec in sig). Running all latest drivers etc. When browsing in chrome my mouse will lock up, the PC will lock up and 3-5 seconds later reboots. Only thing I've changed is going from a Samsung G7 to an LG CX 48. Done a full DDU fresh nvidia driver install, reinstalled chrome / audio drivers. Always seems to be triggered in Chrome, really bizarre! PSU is relatively new, running a corsair RM1000X which I've had since September. Just seems really strange I'm suddenly having this issue since changing my screen.

Any ideas?

Anything popping up in event viewer around the time of crashes?.

Nothing at all! It's happened 3 times this evening and it always happens when I'm using chrome! No crashes when playing Warzone for hours for example!

Just checked again and noticed this:

PSU related? I'm not massively familiar with Event viewer, so excuse my ignorance!

If you have a look in event viewer > administrative events then look for the error events that occur just before or after the critical errors.

Ironically just had another one there whilst in event viewer, seems to be happening a lot more regularly now.

Added more pics hope these may shed light on it?

If you swap back to the G7 do the issues stop?

I don't have it anymore unfortunately. Web browsing seems to trigger the restart though, it's really strange but also very frustrating! I'm leaning towards the PSU but just guessing.:( The mouse locks up, then the PC will reboot a few second later, same thing happens each time. I've re-seated CPU cooler, GPU, RAM etc. Still no difference. Struggling to work out the cause now bar the PSU?

The only other thing I've recently changed was using a beta bios on my MSI X570 Tomahawk,
So I've reverted back to the previous one. Although I don't recall having issues when I installed it two weeks back, it seems whatever has triggered it has started since I got the OLED!

Still getting reboots, so I've uninstalled chrome for now as that's what seems to trigger them. Now testing using Microsoft edge. Would it be worth considering a full system reinstall or is it likely a waste of time? I was thinking of trying that next then sending off PSU for the RMA if no joy.
