That page just happaens to list EVERY number beginning 0141 2283.

Ok bit the bullet and phoned the number, it was indeed AIG debt collection, i owe barclays partner finance £25... they never contacted me about it, apparantly it was a charge for a late payment that i was never notified about. All sorted now

just glad it wasnt anything hugely expensive!

I get emails all the time starting with my name. Almost always from robots I don't know.

It's because some git has at some point(s) taken the details I signed up to a forum/shop/something and flogged them to people I'd rather not have my details -_-

They will send a letter if it is important. Even if the message is legit, which is could well be, you may as well wait and see what happens anyway.

You can claim back bank charges but in not sure sure about finance company charges. Dont really think its worth it for £25 though

for a sake of a phone call i would try it for £25. I mean thats a night outs drinks, or at least would be a considerable amount towards them! Although that is from a student viewpoint, i don't know what your financial viewpoint makes of £25. Well i do actually, you've already said you aren't that bothered
