Stranger Things (Netflix)

I'm on episode 7. Enjoying it so much!

I'm loving all the 80's cheese and throwbacks. Personally I feel they've nailed the tone. So much fun to watch :D

Loving Brett Gelman as the Russian translator. He was so good in 'Fleabag' and 'Love' too! :D

One thing that gets me though, every time I watch a new episode, I can't help but think how much time El spends on set with a pippette full of fake blood stuck up her nose in preperation for the next scene :D

It was also funny that he was the biggest hater of communism yet found a friendship with the Russian scientist. That was a nice touch never to pre judge people.

I'm off to the mall to purchase myself some New Coke™.

A refreshing drink with a great new taste to enjoy while I watch the final episode this evening.

Wonder how much they paid Coca cola and Nestle to get them to make some of their classic packaging for the show.
I love the whole Murray getting under people skin..it worked on Jonathan and Nancy.
This scene alone is still hilarious.

Loving the nostalgia (again) but also how none of them have phones when they're at the mall :D.

To be honest, despite the convenience and despite the fact that I am actually writing this reply on my phone, I REALLY miss those days before mobile phones. I truly believe that they (and the internet ironically) have done as much harm as good. Its part of why I say that social technology is both the greatest and worst thing to have come from the 20th Century.

The internet has cursed us with people that can't keep their mouth shut and sharing spoilers which ruins the experience.
I miss those days myself aswell.

If this was the old days we would still be waiting for episode 2 this Thursday!

At uni, we always looked forward to when the next episode of Lost, Prison Break and Heroes came out. I think that's mainly how we knew what day of the week it actually was!!

I'm currently at episode 5, really I have nothing bad to say about it... I enjoy every episode regardless of whether it's the best thing since sliced Lost, could it be better? Probably, does it falter because of that? No.

Finished it tonight, ahh man, felt pretty emotional in the wrap up montage :'-)

The colour grading and effects were great in that episode too.

Can't wait for season 4!

Loving it after 3 eps.

I like the structure of these, how there are 4 or 5 groups who each figure out one piece of the puzzle. After 3 seasons, they've really figured out how to make the pairings/groupings really work.

I agree with it feeling a bit rushed, I thought there should be 15 ish episodes, but when I finished 6 and saw there was 2 left I was shocked.

Most episodes started so slowly and ended the episode with the juicy bit.
