Lol i tried jumping into you when i was in the right corner with Gouken, and nothing happened -.-

Btw your play seems to have taken a step (or two) back.. the anti-airs have gone again, although some of the patience is still there.
The "(or two)" is for the double dragon punches.. i mean, really? (i don't mean the part where you did 5 dps in a row lol)
 
Is the stick sorted? Any idea what the problem was?

I am not suprised I have taken a step back, I rarely play anymore! The only time I play is when I play you, apart from the two times I played rav and the one time I played tony this month.

Didn't even know but I've missed 3 SSF4 tournys (RBs) in Manchester already with the 4th one being this Sunday but I won't be able to make that. If it was SF4 and 6 months ago I would have been there in a shot.

BTW, the 5 dps in a row was deliberate, I lost the round, had a tiny bit of health left and thought I'd build up some meter lol.
 
I've always had a problem where it doesnt get recognised when it's plugged at times, but once it works, its fine until the next time. But this is the first occasion where it 'works', i unplug and replug, and it doesnt work again.
Should work fine and problem wont reoccur unless i'm unlucky, i guess.

Yea i know the 5 dps was on purpose (wasnt sure of the reason, cos i'm sure your meter was full), thought you were winding me up. But ignoring that, you did a lot of double dragon punches, trying to catch me with the second as i tried to punish the first. I noticed you started doing this a few weeks ago, but wasnt sure if it was fully intentional. Now i know it is :p

Still need work on the Balrog matchup, but i'm getting there, Deejay is still in my pocket :)

We did have some cracking games today!

If we can figure out a good day for all of us, i'm sure we can make it weekly thing. I've got a spare monitor and having two setups would be great if we can get a regular 4-6 people per week.

Hoped you like my mate, i don't think he really knew the Deejay matchup, so he didn't look too good, but when he played your Balrog, it was more representative of his play style.
I'll send you his gamertag when you're next online.

It's kind of frustrating that the game is heavily character dependent.
I've got no worries playing your Deejay, but really struggle against your Balrog. Same thing with my mate, he struggled badly against your Deejay, but beat your Balrog fairly easily.

It's really hard to determine what our skill levels are at, but i must concede that your corner pressure with Rog and Deejay is very very impressive, really dirty ambiguous baits.

But its good that we can all beat each other, our game will level up pretty quickly if we have regular meets. The plinking interval was really helpful, was really easy to pick up and something we can work on.

Hopefully we can play again next week, ggs
 
any of you lot play this on the PS3? I'll be back in the old uk in little over a week , and I've got a PS3 , new TV and copy of SSIV waiting to be hammered!!!

It's dying across the board, it's the same game as SFIV so a lot of people have simply gotten bored of it.

MvC3 can't come soon enough.
 
Sure, although I'm trying to learn Rufus, and that involves 1 frame links so I'm likely to just mess around with a few different characters.
 
Hyv, you shouldn't just spam random high/low attacks, and do things like always doing clk clk legs with Chun when the opponent is blocking.

When I play characters I'm bad with (Guile, M.Bison, Dan etc basically anyone other than Rog/DeeJay) you should be trying to get your BnB's in as practice, make sure you do punishers and try some setups for damage resets.

well i havent played for age! seriously i didnt know what i was doing half the time, thats why i played so badly
