Nice one ravl cheers for that.

I watched Ed Ma go out, his Juri wasn't up to scratch. Any idea what happened exactly in one of JWong's games? From watching it seemed like someone in the crowd had a PS3 controller on wireless and pressed the PS3 button to bring up the system menu when he was about to win.

Nice game that by the way, Adz.

Is it evo time already, who is still in and how are the UK lot doing?

I might be up for some games, if you decide on a time.

LOL that's quite funny

Quick question, had SF4 on the PS3 which was fine with the control pad. However, got rid of my PS3 and now only have my 360. Have seen SSF4 going for under £20 in most places and am tempted by it, however I don't have the money for an arcade stick. Is it even worth it on the 360 pad?

lol

Nice game that by the way, Adz.

I thought so too, the Ryu player did very well as the game went on to close in on Seth. From the first game I didn't think he had a chance. It was nice the way he landed the ultra straight after Seths teleport! :p

Naa I didn't enter. I've not been to any of the SSF4 ones, and this was the 4th one! I've lost the buzz with this game I think but I am still up for our sessions every once in awhile. ;)

1pm?

Hard to say, I'll be getting SSF4 when I get my new 360 next week and will start on the standard pad, but I really really really hate that D-Pad and can't fork out another £100~ for the TE stick. You can get used to the analogue stick on it eventually but personally I find it a nightmare to use to pull off anything but a basic combo and keep missing standard d, f, d, f ultras because I don't slide it back to the down position a 2nd time... probably just me though :p

The D-Pad is just horrible. Maybe look around for a dirt cheap non-official pad that has a proper D-Pad? Or maybe even check out the Mad Catz SF4 fight pads, they are apparantly a lot better to use and can pick them up for about £20.

Aye, he missed two FADC Ultras in the game as well, but made up for it with those awesome ultras from the teleport :) I still think the Seth overall looked a bit better, guess his natural low health just boned him in the end, the Ryu game seemed to have a lot of trouble getting in for the first couple of games, falling for the sonic boom / dhalism jump stretchy punch a few times.

Also, are all you guys playing on the 360 these days? Want to pick this game up but not sure if you all are on the PS3 or 360 or a mix of both, I miss our SF4 leagues :(

Marge, ravl, hyv, maybe Kreeee, and myself still play on the 360. Plus a few others that i sometimes see playing like MrHandley(?) etc. Adz might be getting the new 360 + SSF4 when it comes out.

No one bothers to attend my mid-week sessions. People keep cancelling the night before/on the day so I've got no one to play with.

I don't really play anymore, I've been dragged back into PC gaming and have been playing Counter Strike more than anything else. :o

Same Im afraid :(

But not playing CS. Mind you thats not a bad idea M :D CS ruled back in the day, would be fun to try it again.

Will probably go back to SSF4 in a few weeks once my new office/game room is finalised.

I was playing up until this Thursday but had so many bad matches I decided enough was ebough. Not playing anymore SSF4 the game is so broken especially online with all the cheap tactics, going back to ggpo sf3 and blaz ****ing blue!!!!woop.

I might play a bit of arcade but no more online for me I'm excited to get back into blazblue though

Argh i hate playing against randoms :@

Played a good Cody, got whooped first round. Second round, i get him down to 10% health in the corner while ive got about 50%, and he mashes out Ultra during my combo. So i lose, and i msg him saying i expected better of someone with that many points than to mash out an ultra during my combo.
He replies saying i should watch the replay, and that he only input the move once. So i think i might be wrong, i watched the replay, and he's hammering PPP and doing rapid quarter circles right before the ultra.
So i said to him yea, you're mashing it out, and he keeps saying he wasn't.
Then he suddenly starts telling me how bad i suck and calling me names -.-, etc. Like that's what we were talking about(!). (he clearly was better, but i don't see the relevance)
****ing idiots.

It's probably all my fault for sending the msg in the first place. It was hardly rude tho.

End rant.
