I am sending my xbox back to repair today. I should have it back from microsoft in 2-3 weeks time. meanwhile i am stuck on sf4 pc! wish me luck guys!

EDIT: the online mode on pc is freaking bulls!!! i am getting crushed by people who i can probably beat with one hand (like one handed terror lol) under "normal" condition and do nothing but reversal shoryukens due to the immense lag! because of it i cant even do a shoryuken when i see them jump, unless i do it before they jump. and also comboing gets you nowhere on that game, because you just shoryuken out of everything. u lot would probably tell i am extremely angry while writing this but this online mode brings nothing but frustration, screw this game and random laggy people!!!

finally managed to play a game with at least manageable lag on pc sf4.

i didnt do very well against a turtling turbo blanka (i swear i have never saw a guy that can do a reversal heavy electric after a blocked chun li mp without turbo), who does a lot of random move, especially that stupid ultra. i ended losing 10-7 when he left.

i admit my skills have declined sharply since my xbox died (a replacement should be coming tomorrow so i should be back on super at last!), but i have alway had problems with turtling blanka, who is not afraid (or just like, or most likely do it without thinking) to do random moves.

his damage output is too much for chun li. i cant really do much combos, reset and mix-ups due to random electric and ultra (hell! i cant even throw a fireball without worrying about the slide and ex ball). because of this my damage output is reduced to very low, the only time i get to do big damage is ultra a blocked ball. any tips to fight them?

well i didnt try unsafe stuff. all i did was throw fireball from outside of the range of the slide and filp kick if i predict a random slide coming to make it as painfully tense and annoying for both guys as possible. but as soon as i guessed wrong once with the fireball, all my heath seems to be gone within a couple attacks. and chun li does not have higher damage output per attack than blanka when you are playing this way, without comboing or just trying to do a mix-up.

Chun has far higher damage output, you can do clk clk legs or whatever, Blanka has no hit confirm combo's other than a 1 frame jhk cmk slp ball which isn't even a block string. Damage output is not the damage you can do per move or Guile would be a monster for damage output.

You need to poke a lot more and stop doing fireballs. Walk forward and block until within poke range, then it's an easy win as blanka can't do anything to you at any range. Your normals also beat his balls on reaction if you don;t want to block > punish.

You do random unsafe things by your own admission. I've seen your mixups, and you should never be doing hasanshu or df.hk for random "mixups" against a lot of the cast.

well actually i have learn a few new tricks to replace random hasanshu and df.hk.

i usually do close range s.mk (hits 3 times, first hit overhead) or head stomp or j.hk for instant overhead now. i only do hasanshu if i am throw baiting or going over fireballs.

i tried walking up and poke btw and it seems blanka's slide go under the s.mp and a lot of other pokes. and it has unusual long range. thats usually the most worrying move for me aside from random reversal electric or ultra.

I've not signed on live for a few days but good to have you back on the xbox, we will have to get some more sessions in sometime, my Guile vs your Akuma is definately a good contest :D some very close games! :)

I had to go, i was about to leave after 1 or 2 more games with hyv, before you logged on. I tend not to send msgs when i go now (like you) since msging is a pain in the ass.
Plus, i wanted to give you guys an opportunity to play each other :p

Yeah it takes too long writing msgs on there, I've not been on for a few days but should be back on again from now, definately this weekend since I am totally free!

Hyv and me had some interesting games. Btw it was very satisfying landing YOUR Akuma ultra on YOU. :p

yeah all good games, good to be back as well. i think my reaction to punish, anti air and whiff stuff have gotten worst, but on the bright side my execution got a bit better, due to training mode. but i think yours have got better as well, i have never seen you do a ex fireball fadc ultra before.

you just missed my epic guile versus akuma (with the shin akuma colour and taunt!) match against adz. the last match was pretty crazy as well with my makoto and his ken. i had a few chance to win with grab and ultra, but i missed all of them and adz just beat me up bad.

i think when i play rare characters like hakan and makoto, sometime i can catch you guys sleeping and rush down, i never had the chance to do that with chun li.

EDIT: oh yeah i forgot, adz, you should use the demon flip more and sometimes delay your air fireball btw. you dont have to do it when you jump, you can do it when you are coming down as well. its a great tool to stalk and zone people.

and your guile should jump at me less to stop eat demons :D

Thanks, i go for that a lot now :) Although i think my main 'addition' is comboing into cr.hp - tatsu to move opponents towards the corner, whereas in the past, i'd only end combos with a fireball, or dragon punch if i was feeling frisky.

You caught me a few times with that three hit kick thing you mentioned previiusly. I have NEVER seen that before!

the kick is s.mk from close range. its a overhead and 3 times, everyone seems to block the first hit and get hits by the rest of them.

and yeah i can do the demon pretty well :p

My Akuma is still c#@p since I try playing him like Ryu which is major fail, and I need to start using some of his other moves. I played my cousin Jambo today, my Akuma vs his Ryu just one game and won all 3 rounds catching him with the ultra every time, he didn't know what hit him and he's better then me so I am definately gonna try learn Akuma some more.

Who is up for a late session tonight???
