Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Link please.

i couldnt find a link on youtube, because i watched it on a live stream and cant remember who was playing. but i might try it out in training mode just for you:D

but in 6.06ish of this video you can see vega's claw hit the crouching ken twice, so you can see crouching is a no no against vega, so i expect the dive to hit him out of FA if he tried. although you could be right in some case because some FA move the character's hit box. but as far as i know no one has tried to FA a wall dive at top level, so i dont expect it to work very well.

you can also see in the next two how the dive hits the crouching fei long and how mago try and challenge him out of air and use the invincibility of ex filpkick and flamekick rather than FA.

I have crappy net so will have to wait until I am home this weekend, but it's not merely crouching, of course the dive attack hits a crouching opponent.

The crouch stops the throw, the focus is done at the last split second to absorb the hit once Vega is too close to the ground to do the throw but high enough to do a last few frames of the attack. It's an option select to beat Vegas own option select in every scenario, unless something new has been learnt about it in the past week.

DP's are used if the Vega is being thick and doing unsafe dive attacks (not on wake up/opponents recovery).

did you have your lag switch on or something adz? very laggy today. sorry i left before i even got your message

At first I thought it was your connection but I had the same problem vs Arth and Rav. I went to check my bro wasn't downloading anything on his laptop and he wasn't even on it! No idea what was going on yesterday, it was totally unplayable though so I gave up.

There's also an over-the-shoulder perspective camera view that they've managed to put in this and is quite interesting as well since it gives off an old-school Beat'em Up style of game.

But yeah those features in that trailer are interesting, just doubt that they will be as popular here for the general public since it applies more to Japan. At least for the crowd in tournament events for people with a 3DS, it will be fun though.

what i mean by sf is super turbo and alpha 2 and 3! where spacing is king and you can pretty much kill your opponent with one good read. they made sf4 so comeback-able, it become very noob friendly.

Er... what?

You like games where you can win with one good read... but dislike that in SFIV you can make a comeback in one good read.

You're a bit of a weirdo :P

lol, its easier and less depressing to kill or get kill at a instant than losing a frustrating game where you dominated only to get kill by someone mashing dp and fadc ultra because of one bad read.

I actually remember that game by the combo you pulled out in the third round, was one of the best you have done against me. Also your Chun Li seems to have improved from the last few times we have played. Let me know next time you are gonna upload and I'll step it up a notch :p Next session I'm using Guile though, you choose 1 char, first to 5, each game first to 2. My Ryu vs Arths Akuma went to the wire yesterday, 4 games all, last round, last bit of health! I'm starting to love this game again. :)
