Yeah sure.

Doesn't sound like a tournament I'd be interested in for the future tbh, just seems like it's a bunch of bedroom warriors being bedroom warriors instead of just letting their game do the talking. Unless something major is on the line here? I thought it was just a fun tourney.

Oh yeah tis nothing serious. Just a lot of good players entered so thought we'd see how we do.

We play team C who are the guys we have beaten already. Matches may be more around 6ish due to "sunday dinner and ****" to quote Gav.

Oh dear looks like I have to step in to cover in Gavsgarden for team ocuk, otherwise they have to forfeit. If distorted or zid or rav read this, get online and take my place quick!

Good effort guys I am once again extremely disappointed in my play... I have beaten him before, but he played awesome so I can't complain. I will be joining the next one too, vengance shall be had!

We should enter 2 OcUK teams.

He spanked me fair and square, but I don't think it was fair that they subbed one of their terrible players for a good one once the tourney had started.

Wouldn't surprise me if Omh OCV'd them if they didn't bring in that good Rog.
We got 1 win at least though, which is more than what some people thought we'd get -.-
I'm glad i played in it though, because i think about it more after the losses, about what i could've/should've done. Made me realise i'm lacking a LOT of Cammy knowledge - not just matchups, but her general shenanigans when applying close range offense. Going to make her my main from now until MvC3!

ggs guys, was it just me or was there an unusual amount of lag today? I experienced lag with at least 3-4 different players.

Distorted where did you go, I wanted to see how you did vs that 5000pp Honda player. He was quality, managed to get a round here and there but just as I thought I've got it, he would nail me. DrSK you don't like playing Vega much do you?

That's what I thought so I msg'd one guy I was playing and he said 'no sorry it's me'. Who knows, my bro was probably playing BlackOps on PS3 although everytime I sign on and notice even a hint of lag I txt him saying switch PS3 OFF!

Seemed laggy when I was watching so left although I agree with you today everything seemed a bit on the laggy side. Maybe an issue somewhere?

Ryu Honda matchup is quite simple really. just need to keep him out by zoning although really good hondas lay the smack down.

ggs earlier OMH and Art. That Chun had me crushed to be honest. I dont think Ive played a Chun that good before. Madbeats owned me as usual lol.

Yea just fireball and dp those Hondas! Be sure to throw in fireball feints, and you need to be able to anti-air dp without trading. If Honda ever gets in close, air tatsu away like a little *****

I enjoyed playing those two. madbeats and distorted play sort of similar, except madbeats is an even better version of distorted.
The Chun seemed really good, although i don't know Chun and have no-one to compare her to.

I got a sound beating at first, winning 0, losing 5. But then i decided to stop playing cautious and clawed out 3 wins in a row.

GGs earlier, I have to play very lame in order to beat Distorted... if I try go on the offense he just gets momentum and starts going in. Art your cammy is becoming a definate problem for me now, I rarely win.

Jester and Madbeats are good, I too have little experience against chuns... the only one I play regularly is hyv. I learned chuns super can punish blocked yoga flame in that session.

There isn't much that chun's super can't punish

Not sure what tips to give for Sim vs Cammy. I'm quite sure you used to option select crouch tech with mp or hp. I remember that knocked me out of a few instant cannon strikes in the past, but you don't seem to do that any more.
Also, yoga tower is good against Cammy. I'm sure you've noticed spiral arrow is annoying for Sim, but yoga tower is a great counter for that.

Lol u noticed. I hate vega, that blanka was excellent, soooooo awkward, but I'm sure with some patience we can improve. U did well tho, u shudv won a few matches. Ur guile is excellent. Ggs

Mad beats is awesome, his weakness is akuma tho, I decked him hard. Another ryu I really like is steadrocks, fantastic ryu, best I've played in a long time. A third good ryu is fists of legend, he's wicked he caned me.
