Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Have been trying to do the FK FADC U2. Managed to pull it off again tonight but for the life of me I cannot understand how I did it.
Still practising.

I think that gets me about the FADC/SB combos is sonic booming and then FADCing and then continuing the combo string, I would not be able to get that...

It's incredibly easy. Do you ever do any fadc combos?

i actually think fadc sonic boom combo is easier than the exupper loop. the same charge buffering method really, but fadc boom into jabs seems to give you more time to charge

Honestly no. I havent got the muscle memory down.
Any tips? I can prolly pull it off but not had a lot of success. Furthermore I seem to mess up the timing off how long I need to press MP/MK and then dash out of the focus.

Practice FADC combos for 15 minutes each day. No more. If you try to do FADC stuff constantly for any long period of time you can develop quite bad RSI. Plus you'll see how much you've improved compared to the last time you tried, which is motivating.

Practice clp clp boom FADC clp clp boom fhp. Do mp's once you have that down to end up with clp lp cmp boom FADC loops.

It's so easy that I can't really give any more advice other than to practice. It's amusing that you think long simple combo's are geom like though :P

You won't get RSI from playing on a stick unless you ham fist the buttons every time.

Will give it a go.

When I say geom-like I meant that I didnt see anyone else use FADC/SB-ing combos continuously like that in matches before Geom. Then again I dont go to arcades every waking hour and see what players on the scene are using as their latest comboing arsenal :)

Interestingly I have discovered something.
If I push my stick to the right gently, it would click but not register an input on the screen. Whats more when I am holding down and right (when my character is facing left) it my character would not block on some occasions.
And if facing right and pushing up right it would jump just straight up in some instances.

Could it be the spring or the switch may need replacing?

Yeah, actually a button stopped working first so I baught sanwa buttons off the web and modded it. It was fine for ages then the stick played up. I decided not to bother modding the stick too so I just upgraded to a TE. No problems since very good stick.

Thanks Omh. Cant seem to find any TE-S on ebay or on the madcatz site (for the PS3). Are they discontinued or something?
