***STREETFIGHTER IV LEAGUE (PC)***

Can someone tell me, how on earth are you supposed to dodge blanka's ultra?

This one got me so many times, and Blanka's ultra does a hell of a lot of damage! I lost so many games originally due to not being able to block his ultra but now I actually bait it and get them to use it. Most Blanka players I've played normally let it off when you are right next to them, if so just block low then block high. Go into training mode and practice blocking it, it will boost your confidence massively against Blanka in future. :)

Cheers, I'll have a play with training mode, I only got this game last weekend with the half price offer, so I'm still getting to grips with all the different modes.

There's certainly a lot more than there was in SSF2T

Cheers, I'm normally Akuma so I have no EX-uppercut, I tried an Ex-hurricane kick, and got electrocuted! I think I may stick to blocking.

Yes you have EX uppercut as Akuma =/

But just teleport forwards if it's close, and you'll dodge it every single time :D

If you're playing a Blanka that has played for more than half a day though they will only ever use their Ultra as a guaranteed anti air, or the forward throw, step, ambiguous Ultra crossup which make the block direction 50-50 and there is no way to tell where it will land, even for the Blanka player. In this case Akuma has a huge advantage as his teleport will always escape it.

Cheers, I do need to try teleporting more, it's a great move! :D

I must admit I've never pulled off the EX uppercut, but I think this is mainly due to playing using a keyboard ( use the all 3 buttons to normally pull off EX moves). I think I may have to go the arcade stick route, the DIY version seems to be the way forward! :)

I am trying to play games with naankiller but I cannot join his games and he cant join me. I have not had any issues playing anyone else (except for a couple of failed attempts with Artheas). He hasn't had issues before either....
Not sure what to do?

ZuG I think I initially had a problem joining your games too didn't I? It was definately someone from the league but can't remember who, but it was working in the end. As Skeepter says, try rebooting the router and let me know if you have any luck.

Let me know if you build one and need help, I've gotten rather experienced at stick building and modding :p

Once this league has run its course and I have the net I will be running a team based tournament, meaning each person should fight someone with a similar skill level and every match should be close and exciting for participants and viewers :)
