There's a big thread over at the steam forums, apparently fixed frame rate is better for multiplayer (instead of variable), it's supposed to reduce lag and stop the 2 machines going out of sync. I'd give it a go. :)

If you are playing afew games at a time you will definately need to keep a note of the scores and the opponent, otherwise you will definately forget! Do the same when you play your PS3 games or the same will happen.

Artheas will tell you that I was having problems with my stick and the USB port. It was cutting in and out during the fight (yes even in the one that I won suprisingly).

Cracked open my case and the USB connector was very loose it seems and that may explain the intermintantcy.

Btw, presumably does everyone switch variable frame rate off?
 
just played Carvallino78 3-2 3-2 to me both games i believe - kinda dont wanna bin dive for the paper lol (dead fly on it). was close and i knew he'd figure me out which he did in the casuals afterwards haha. gg nice guile, so annoying when i forget to do something against that sweep.
 
ya i always have variable frame rate off, otherwise the drop in FPS is sent to the other player as lag :/ so annoying...

Er dont think so buddy. It Was 3-2 to me and 3-2 to you. Wrote them down as well.

(And then the two friendly games after it was 3-1, 3-1 to me :D)

Ive been trying to perfect Guiles target combo which is quite decent. Also been trying to do some combos (a la gilley style) where he chains 2 sonics booms within the same combo awesome to pull off but so hard.
 
Just had my games with Cavallino

First game with me hosting was 3-0 to me.
Second game with Cav hosting was 3-1 to me

Some very good games, very close rounds
