I'm just back from getting a haircut and a shave at the barbers. I mean to ask him every time I go but I always forget. When he's done, he 'blows' some sort of white powder out of a rubber squeezy container all over my face and neck. I've always wondered what it is and what it does. Can anyone enlighten me?

Also, can anyone recommend a supplier or a brand of cutthroat razors and associated supplies?
