well this is a pc overclocking forums so all the heretic mac users should be gassed

I feel quite silly debating it but it does get annoying when you get this childish crap going on. It's hard to ignore.
If you're to take the majority of what you get from tech support, then it becomes fine to assume Windows users will more often than not, be idiots who don't know what's going on with their machines.
There's people who will never see wrong with OS X. There are people who will argue Windows is 'supoib'* until they're blue and I'm sure there's people who would happily let Linus Torvalds sit on their face.
It's a bit like saying any motel owner who has a mother close by, is going to be Norman Bates.

You're breaking the carefully described boxes, damn you and your non-conformist ways; that means you are trying too hard so you must be a Mac user. But wait - you also use Windows which means you are a dull corporate type who blends in. Ah, you're confusing me - how about if I just classify you as a person?

I do actually have a Macbook Pro and a PowerMac G4 for reasons other than "scene" and "coolness".
Oh and besides, I have an iPhone for that

most people are tools! covers all three
the only thing i find annoying about Mac users, are the ones that seem to think PC tech support should be able to support them when there department is unwilling to pay for our training (there are like 30 mac users and 4k PC users we support)

I hate the whole Macs are stabler than PCs, that is rubbish. As is Mac OSX is better OS than XP/Vista.
Let's see. Xp/Vista supports an almost infinite combination of hardware. Mac OS runs on specific hardware, so far easier to make "stable". In my experience. my PCs are stabler than my Macbook, and my friends at uni have had the same issues (pauses for 2 minutes before doing anything, overheating etc). Most people at uni buy macs because it looks cool, then most realise they want to go back to a PC (many of my friends) because on a Mac you quickly realise you can't actually do what a typical PC user wants to do (i.e. play games etc). Don't get me wrong, Macs have their niche, but definately not in the consumer market, unless you want to <stereotype>look cool, like other men or cut hair</stereotype>. I got one because my uni gave it to me for free (part of research) and I thought maybe Mac OS could be a good platform for what I was doing. (which it wasnt)
Not to forget an equivalent laptop to a Macbook (pro or not) is vastly cheaper, and can actually get rid of heat.

I actually Like Macs I think their styling is superb. not the bigest fan of the OS GUI but thats hardly a big issue. It's the average user I cant stand. maybe I should put "average" in bold lettering and underline it eh

Surely those two sentences are a conflict of interests though? The Windows side of thing has to support several hundred different types of hardware combinations and the Macs, as you say, concentrates on a set few.
This means less work for the OS X team and it means the software can be optimized in a shorter time. The business models of Windows and Apple are very different, it's actually quite silly that they get compared.
Excluding the heat issue, which does affect some users of MacBooks, it just sounds like a MacBook wasn't suitable for your needs. It is aimed at the light consumer. Expecting it to play games a bit like buying an Asus EEE and expecting it to run Crysis at full settings - it's not built for it.
Just because it's a Mac or because it comes with a price premium over the competition, doesn't mean it's made of magic.

This is you talking too much from the wrong end. They have plenty of use in the consumer market and I think their recent quarter was the best in profits for the company. The iPhone obviously makes up a good chunk of that but their percentage of consumer users is definitely on the rise.
