Can you start up a 1.6 local server and see if u still get the skipping, defeats the lag aspect altogether.

harris1986 said:i'm using the built in wireless that came with the p5b deluxe version! i'l try un-installing this and using my old pci network card to see if this makes a difference? but with the built in wireless i always get excellent signal strength.
i haven't tried it when creating my own server i'l try that later and let you know!

Cable 4tw as its just more reliable and can carry more bandwith
harris1986 said:urm maybe you don't understand? i'm still on wireless, instead of using the built in asus wireless client on my motherboard, i went back to using my old bt voyager pci wireless card and all is well again! so i'm still on wireless, and as a note to all of the wireless haters out there, in the 2 years of having my wireless setup in my home (between 3 heavily used computers) i have not experienced as of yet 1 minutes down time and i get perfect reception in my bedroom!
