Suarez could be driven out of Premier League

I just wanted to give my opinion on Suarez. Your business here seems to be more about character assassination these days (or at least with me it does). It takes the enjoyment out of it really which is why I post here less now.

Basically you didn't want a discussion and to just state what you think about Suarez but refuse to discuss your opinions when questioned about them.

Also character assassination? I have better things to do when I already know what you get on like after certain posts, nothing to assassinate, people can make up their own opinions on here, they aren't drones.

It's not hard to understand why people hate Suarez is it, I mean, he's a Liverpool player for a start...

:p

I know thats a joke (or at least I think so :p) but really it isn't hard to understand why people hate him, it is the labels they give him whilst being a hypocrite or massive hyperbole.
He has cheated, he has been reckless (thankfully not so much in a red shirt) and has potentially used racial slurs to wind up Evra but there are much larger problems with english football and football as a whole but it seems he is what is talked about every other day.

This thread is descending into utter stupidity and really needs to be closed. If Suarez is leaving then it can be in the transfer thread.

Was crap long before today, perhaps around the time certain people who were suggesting Liverpool are getting the stories ready before he leaves out in the press that he has been slaughtered as his reason for leaving. When of course, Comolli=Liverpool.

You mean he did use racial insults, he was banned for it no?

He's easy to hate I guess, that's literally all there is too this.

Suarez won't be 'driven' out of Liverpool by anyone but Liverpools lack of progression as a football club.

I don't even think this will be a factor, I think he will move on when he wants a new challenge. You only have to look at his time with Ajax and his move to us to realise that trophies and money aren't a driving factor for him.

That's just rephrasing what Tummy said isn't it?

Glass half empty vs half full.

I dont think so no? He could have stayed at Ajax (who were 'succesful' unlike Liverpool of recent times) but he chose to move to us and for less money. We could be winning everything and he would leave for a new challenge. Dont think our progression as a club matters one iota to him.

If you're not interested in anyone's opinion other than your own then why bother reading what anyone else posts?

I read a lot of stuff on here because I'm interested in other viewpoints, it's not always about having to discuss, agree, or disagree.

You can never resist having a personal dig or slight at me though can you? ;) What exactly do I "get on like", and what does "certain posts" mean?

He used the words, whether they were meant as a racial slur he was only banned based on the probability evra is more reliable and knew they were meant with malice, also whether he had repetition of at least ten times is also one mans word against anothers.

Interesting, didn't know he was on less money.

I still think it's a rephrase though, unless by "new challenge" you mean he'll move to an even worse performing club without champions league football.

Well yes, because when Liverpool don't progress enough, he will seek another challenge and move on. Which is what I said.

I don't know, thats what I was asking you as you seem not to be interested in discussing the topic or what is questioned on your opinion, I clearly am interested on other peoples opinions as I read/question them.

It was an easy mistake to make the way it was reported by the media, though I did apologise when it was pointed out.

Let's not have the Suarez Evra debate again please.

I think if we were on ManU/City/Barca level he wouldn't want to move for a new challenge, I'd say he would be pretty damn happy winning a trophy each year. (Big trophy's.)

I don't know the full particulars of his wage with Ajax, but its documented that he dropped to 30k (ish) a week when he signed with us.

It's what he did with us :)

I disagree :p Ajax were winning "Big Trophys" year after year

Liverpool are a bigger club and was probably promised money would be spent to get us back challenging. Little did he know £35m would be spent on a horse.

I think he's great and I think every single thing he does is put under a spotlight and branded disgusting whatever it is.

The handball in the cup game, what a load of rubbish. yes, the ball hit his hand, yes I've seen less obvious ones given as handball, was it intentional? I seriously doubt it.

You could have purchased 17 and a half Michu's for that.

You are incapable of taking it at face value. It's pretty much irrelevant what I think of other players because a) this thread isn't about other players, b) the players you keep bringing up are all current or ex Man United players (are you trying to imply something because you keep doing this?) and c) the players you keep bringing up haven't been premier league mainstays for a long time.

If you genuinely want me to compare Suarez to another player that I might think is "disgusting" then pick a current premier league player that starts every week. There's just nobody as bad as Suarez around at the moment that springs to mind for me.

Even if I had thought Keane was a "disgusting" player ten or twenty years ago it's pretty much forgotten now, just like I will forget I said it about Suarez ten or twenty years from now. I was also very young when Keane would have been on TV so my opinions would be much more immature.

Whichever way you look at it though your comparatives aren't a fair comparison.
