Suarez could be driven out of Premier League

What better way to make Rodgers look like a muppet after defending him all this time. Both sides trying to engineer a way out for him?

Or the inevitable language barrier mix up?

As if he had to admit that was a dive, ferguson can call out young at the time and not wait for him to say 'yeah i dived' in the press and then make a whole new story about it.

**** me LFC, bunch of absolute *****.

In fact Rodgers would have said something at the time, there is no way he could have ignored how blatant that was, dunno if this is some sort of rehabilitation attempt in the press for Luis.

I'm sure Rodgers had to say something on it, the fact he didn't at the time has caused this as he should have known people as uneducated as footballers and going to go herp derp to the press.

Damien Comolli would have delivered this message if we were trying to engineer a way out.

Stupid foreigners admitting to things, he should like us English and take the moral high ground and deny everything.

Yeah, he is well known for putting his hand up and admitting things. I tell a lie; the only time he puts his hand up is to handball.

I do genuinely wonder how people defend the lad. Since he has been in England he has done enough for everyone to dislike him. By all accounts he has calmed down as well. If you look at his actions before joining liverpool you would have to come to the conclusion that he is a nasty piece of work along the same lines as Joey Barton.

Eh? Agree, he's a cheating scumbag but he's not a thug like Barton

We always have a pantomime villain or two in the League and Suarez is that. Anything he does or says is going to be blown out of proportion which is why he shouldn't have admitted to the dive and why Rodgers should have chose his words more carefully. Nothing will be said or done to Suarez but Rodgers had to be seen as condemning diving.

Oh well that makes it alright then I suppose. Let's move swiftly on then

What? We did all move on swiftly when Scholes, Walcott and Phil Neville admitted to diving though.

No we didn't but neither did fans of Utd, Arsenal or Everton proclaim that Poor old Scholesy, Walcott or Phil Nev wasn't a diver. The difference is that we haven't had Fergie, Wenger or Moyes bleating on about their respective players getting a hard time and their reputation is meaning they don't get awarded pens. Low and behold big gob undermines his manager once again. What kind of response did he think he was going to get by admitting to diving at a specific incident.

We have gone from LFC Fans saying he is 100% not being a cheat or a diver to well he dives but only as much as anyone else.

Again moral high ground trying to be claimed when its really not there to be claimed in the first place.

Some small village outside of Montevideo is missing it's Idiot once again

Are you ****ed? All I done was comment on the rights and wrongs of Suarez's admission and Rodgers' comments from a pr point of view from Liverpool's perspective. I couldn't care less what anybody else thinks.

I fully understand why anything Suarez says or does is blown up and it doesn't bother me in the slightest - as I originally said though, he shouldn't have said anything because it only causes much to do about nothing and doesn't help anybody (at Liverpool).

And for what it's worth, no Liverpool fan has ever said Suarez is 100% not a cheat and just like any other manager Rodgers is only ever going to stand by his player as much as he can.
