I'd agree if he did it for Liverpool...but he didn't. It would be unfair to punish Liverpool or any other club if he moves to them. I'm not sure Fifa will go down that road to be honest and he'll get an international ban.

Why is it unfair to Liverpool ? Doesn't matter what game he did it in. Players dont get let off just because it wasn't for the club.

They are employing a racist thug. Any other profession they would sack him but money talks doesn't it.

Definitely.

LFC need to put something out aswell really. We can't be condoning this. I'd be surprised if he isn't sold, the sponsors will kick up a stink aswell.

Where are you going to draw the line? He was playing for Uruguay so it should be an international ban. Unless Fifa are going to ban Pepe for his headbutt and the various other elbows from various chaps then you can't Suarez for me.

I think the fact that #BanSuarez is trending worldwide on twitter suggests this is the last straw. He obviously doesn't get it. Full ban for 12 months from all games... So what if it hurts the clubs etc... This will hurt a game further which already has ridiculous and unacceptable behaviour in it.

Edit: Just to clarify... There needs to be a deterrent, 10 game ban wasn't enough as events have repeated themselves. So full ban, the club can the sue for breach of contract or whatever (resulting in consequences)... Others might not sign him (again consequences of his stupidity)

Your statement is idiotic... It shows that people find this behaviour unacceptable and FIFA need to step up and deal an adequate punishment... fool

Oh please. He was trending when a ball (clearly accidentally) bounced into Morecambe's net off his hand. Does that mean that he should have been punished?

What would they get? I'd be pretty surprised if he has assets worth his transfer value.

So would I, but what does that matter. If his behaviour causes his contract to be terminated then Liverpool can get whatever they can from him.

Its disgraceful that ANY club would employ him now.

How? If he has damaged them to the tune of, say, £60m, and he doesn't have £60m, then they cannot get £60m from him.

I seriously question what punishment a ban will offer ?

To do it three times in his career, the lads got issues deeper than football that's for sure. Banning him won't change that behaviour.
