Subwoofer gone.. Repair or alternative?

Going to take mine to a place in town and get some quote. Guaranteed it won't be 50!

I've a picked up a bk xxls400. I'll get the MA fixed and decide which to keep.

Seems overwhelmingly that the BK is better.

BK is DF and MA is FF. Apparently that doesn't make a difference because of a sub being omnidirectional

No there is a difference between df and FF, mainly due to what floor you have solid or shapended.
