Suddenly have Half Life: Source and Half Life Deathmatch: Source?

Just log onto to steam and realised I have Half Life: Source and Half Life Deathmatch: Source. I've never brought them, so where did they come from?

Anyone have any idea?

The black box was given away free with certain AMD graphics cards, it was never retail.

I just looked and I have HL:S too. I don't recall having it before now.. but I'm not sure. I only got the orange box.

Hmm, I have these too. Also seemed to have acquired CS:Source Beta? Why would I want an old beta?

It's not old. It's an on-going beta that they recently added to test new updates etc. for CSS

It's just HL1 again, they didn't add any source engine features at all. I think the water might look better actually.

It's noticeably better in some places imo.

As said though, it's the same game. And it's got far more to offer than just graphics. Not worth getting source, if you've already got HL imo.

There's some official HD models for HL available on Steam as well.
