guys, c'mon now. what's going on?! this isnt helping the OP is it really?

Carzy, you're quit free to disagree with the fact that schecter make good guitars, but you don't even play guitar, so you wont really know. for example, my schecter is just about the lightest guitar ive ever played, and the "tuning knobs" (by this i'm sure you mean machine heads) are no bigger than on any other guitar i've played. something tells me you've never even held one tbh.

Certainly don't discount the G400, it's a crackin guitar. Solidly built, nice tone and a lot of guitar for the money.

[disclaimer] I know nowt about guitars but my lad loves his Epiphone G400 and they're his words [/disclaimer]

Yea that was the other I was looking at before I decided on the Les Paul.

But 2 things, the shape, didn't really get on with it and the strap button being on the back.

Although If I really wanted to I probably could get over these things.

The Les Paul felt a lot more natural though.
