Sugo SG03 finally listed on Silverstone's site

Looks nice, but it will be quite noisy with all the vents, no way to make it silent, but you can make it quiet by using a passive PSU, two ultra quiet 120MM fans, and laptop hard drives, nad probably a Zalman CNPS8000 at 5V

If you use quiet fans it can be slient, you probably on need 1 120mm fan blowing into the case. You probably wont even need a fan on the CPU if you use a Ninja (if it fits). If it doesnt fit I think a SI-128 with 120mm ultra silent fan would work well.

As for Hard disk yes laptop drives could be used or a Scythe/silent box with standard HDD or better yet the new 1tb Hitachi drive sounds totally silent!

Pity it doesnt look more like the TJ08.

I don;t think you really know the SUgo case series, they are SFF cases, so need SFF heatsinks which are no more than 68 mm maybe 78mm high, so SI-120 won't fit, either stock cooler, Silverstone NT06 + sUITABLE psu, Zalman 7000/7500/7700/8000//

Yup I've worked on cube cases, you need low profile coolers. I've a TJ-08 and should have a Scythe Ninja this week, according to my measurements it should fit. Not bad for a micro MATX tower. Means I can run passive, with just front & rear case fans at 7v. It's really really quiet already (2.5" HD) :) passive mobo, passive graphics.

Lol I beg to differ;) I currently own a Sugo Evo and a TJ08. You can mod the SI-128 for a Sugo Evo (which incidentally I did just that, see in the for sale forum) in addition I have a ninja in my TJ08, and its is perfect:). I have 1 120mm fan running, the rest passive (inc PSU) and its close to total silence.

I am running at 5v, CPU is at just 42 degrees, the TJ08 is a fantasic case.

Did you fit the Ninja onto the board by removing the motherboard tray, or did you fit ninja into already fitted mobo/tray? It's quite a tight fit, just wondering fitting it outside of the case then sliding in the tray will work without hitting something.

Its impossible to fit the Ninja with the mobo already attached, took me a while to work that out! Make sure that you remove the mobo tray, attach the CPU/Ninja then 'angle' the tray in and it just fits. However it will only fit if that is the first thing you put in as the PSU and DVD get in the way. You can again 'angle' in the PSU. Its all a tight fit but when you work it out, its quite easy.:)

That Ninja is huuge - I was quite shocked! Excellent cooler tho.:)

Just saw this in person, looks great if using a single 120mm fan at the front you can adjust its position, eg top, middle, bottom, also there is a 1CM space between PSU and NT06 cooler, so probably get an 80MM high cooler in there, maybe the new Scythe Ninja Mini might fit in there, also the mobo used is an EVGA SLI mobo, the Quad SLI is a joke really, as there are only two cards, both 7950GTX and I doubt anyone would want to use them when you can have a 2*8800GTX in SLI, so not quad SLI but just regular SLI..

Anyway case was missing the HDD bracket so not sure how the HD's get installed...

Back to the top of the page for this, as the case is almost here.

The first run of the SUGO SG03 to ship out of SilverStone’s Chinese production facilities later this week for early May availability. Expect to pay $129 for the all aluminum small form factor case.

$129 is about £65, however with this being the UK we're probably going to see it around £80 I think.

I might well pick one of these up. :)

mm kezmo looks about the same space the sugo 01 gives you m8

Wonder if Silverstone will revise the design and provide solid side panel. As the pictures here show the PSU fan facing inwards, so the side vent looks an empty gesture. And I imagine that set-up will be the norm.

Looking at Tosk's picture it does look a bit of dust trap.

I was planning to buy the evolution then OC stocked selling it :( Absolutely hated the SG03 when I 1st saw it, now I love it :D
The evo & the lian li were so much wider & deeper than my current Sb75 shuttle. This is identical in dimensions except its twice as tall. I can live with that on my desk.
Gonna order the ram & cpu today whilst the prices are crazily low then buy the case when it becomes available.

Good review here.

And also...

At first when seeing the CeBit SG03 pictures surface we were uncertain whether the Sugo Pak would work with the SG03. However, SilverStone had assured us that it would, and it did indeed fit. The Sugo Pak was obviously designed with the SG01 in mind, but we had no problems safely transporting the new Sugo around in a Sugo Pak. The Sugo Pak is a truly well built and multi-functional bag -- more information is available in our Phoronix review. Other uses for this bag can be found in this Phoronix Forums thread.

Woot! I can use my Sugo carry bag with it! :D :D :D

Whats the largest video card that will fit into this? 8800gts or gtx? I was planning a gts but would like the option of a gtx if possible but dont think it is deep enough. May have to go for the sg01 after all with its aditional depth :(
