Hey guys,

With everything up and running now, I decided to put in for an overclock...

I had a few issues manually and was like "screw it, will try auto tune"...

And so far I have these stats, the ASUS OC'er took the clock to 4.4GHz!!!

Here is the stats:

Does the OC, Voltage and temps all seem OK, if so im gonna stick at this for my 24/7 setup as im not out to get 4.8-5.0GHz etc..

Hmm, after running prime for around an hour the first core had an error and reduced workload to 50-60%...

I ran intel burn test on maximum and it was fine...

What is causing this? is it too high a clock or voltage etc?

The Base Clock has been increased to 103 Mhz. Overclocking in this manner could shorten the life of your CPU. That could be why your seeing Errors.

EDIT: Made a Mistake

OK, so should I reset the BIOS settings and then do a manual OC?

ive clocked mine to 4.4 but manually, just make sure that you keep your bus speed to 100MHz and change your multiplier.

Manually put your RAM timings in and then change the CPU voltage to about 1.26/1.27.

thats what seemed to work for me

Im having a problem with Turbo Boost...

When I change the multiplier and boot to windows it remains at whatever is set and doesnt turn off to the standard 1.6GHz, when I reset the BIOS to standard clock the Turbo Boost seems to work again? What the deuce?

Can someone shead some light on this?

Also I heard that the BUS speed is damaging for the CPU , but as standard it is at 100.3MHz, is that an ok speed as its not EXACTLY on 100MHz?
