@woppy101

Kelly is a rather shrewd bit of business adds that much needed pace in the back line that you have called out multiple times :D

We also seem to be having that major squad overhaul this season and trimming the fat.

Richie, Dumment, Hendrick!!!!! and Karius all set free :D Frazer looks set to sign for Southampton. Hayden also might get his contract terminated and join QPR.

Might even get a fee for Dubs from Celtic.

£300k a week in wages save there alone mate, and if we get a fee for dubs, all the better.
I have said multiple times, playing such a high line and aggressive press with defenders that are very slow was a recipe for disaster.
Not quite sure what the others were on but Hendrick and Frazer were in large wages because Mike saved on a transfer fee!

@Vandle
Seems Bournemouth fans are sorry to see him go after all. Video also explains your post.

They explain that’s he’s a better CB than fullback but there’s not much in it that he keeps getting shifted about between the two positions.

We ain’t signing Oilise mate
Don’t care still going to watch the welcome to Newcastle YouTube videos :D

Seen we have a medical booked for James Trafford. 15m with 5mil addons to come in and complete with Pope.

Our GK position has cost us dearly over the last two season when Pope has been out.

He had a bit of a rough season but seems to have bags of potential.

If he does compete with Pope you will just have the same issue next season. Very few clubs have elite back up keepers because you can't keep 2 keepers happy and its not a position that you usually rotate much outside of injuries. Even then, would you bring Pope back in when fit? If you don't Pope will likely want to leave.
Think that’s what makes Trafford ideal. Pope will be number one and Trafford will be his long term replacement but better than what we currently have/had.

Although I think that’s now both Popes shoulders that have had issues. So who’s knows.

Minteh has agreed terms with a unknown club have a feeling that it’s the certain German club that’s fantastic for developing youth… in the hands now for Newcastle to sort terms.
Strange signing DCL if it happens. He's no better than Wilson and is even more injury prone. Hopefully he's cheap.
is anyone as injury prone as Wilson? Not sure there are many strikers that want to come in and play second fiddle to Isak who’s about to sign a new long term contract. DCL is all about giving us something different and happy enough to sit on the bench.
