apparently jones booted him in the face by accident as rooney tried to header it and split a large gash around the forehead area

One report I read said it was Vidic - not sure how those two can be confused lol ( I saw Jones being mentioned elsewhere too)

Oh yeah, I probably could have worded that better. I just meant that had we had a fit Rooney we would have been better today but that doesn't change the fact we shouldn't be considering Welbeck a starter unless RvP and Rooney are out. We should have the quality and depth to be able to loan him out or get rid.

I just think that Moyes is making a rod for his own back here. We haven't signed anyone and we don't look good. You can't expect to have a poor team and stick the odd player in who doesn't suit that style of play and expect everything to be peachy. Nani came on and time and again was left looking silly because no one made the runs for him. Kagawa looks like that too. Watching the way Arsenal fluidly move into attack just makes us look ****.

This is why Bayern don't look half the side they did last year. You have a certain set of players and the style you play has to suit them or they have to adapt.

If Moyes pays Everton more that £25m for Fellaini and he loans them Lingard I will have little hope for his future. I reckon tha Januzaj will probably ditch us fairly soon as well if he is overlooked this season.

Even before Ozil announced last week he was staying, the wages he was asking for was meant to be beyond RvP's wages :eek:
