That is awful news, however why would we need another defensive midfielder when we have Sandro back and raring to go?

Well that's Utds problem lol...everytime I've seen Ozil play, I haven't been all that impressed with him but no doubt he is good and if we do sign him then I hope he gets even better. I just don't think he is worth that much but right now selling clubs have all the power as it's so late in the window

Flamini is an excellent player. I wouldn't have said no to having him at Liverpool as backup.

I recently saw a statistic that said that Ozil was second only to Inesta as the most creative midfielder in Europe.

I agree. I would have been happy for arsenal to have paid money for flamini. Getting him on a free is great.

Ozil for £40m, yes please :p

Those that consider ozil too much I would say wait to see him play before judging him. I think it's a fair price for his ability in this transfer window.

Alright alright lol...maybe when I've seen him and play he hasn't been at his best. But my Real supporting mate just text me some of his stats and he is damn decent.

£40mill for him is worth the punt, let's hope if he does come he will be even better.

Yeah, how could he fail to improve on his stats really I mean at Madrid he was having to feed Ronaldo/Benzema/Higuain but when you look at what Arsenal can offer I'm sure they'll skyrocket. ;)

I'm only bitter.
