£27.5m for Fellaini paid for by the manager that put a £23m buyout clause in his contract? Has anybody misunderstood a buyout clause this much since CM?

Yes it's all a bit terrible.

Think Fellaini could be very good for us though, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Put some money on him getting sent off in a CL game for sure.

I am sorry but a manager can talk to the higher ups and tell them to sort their ****** deals out and stop fannying about. Woodward is not above everyone in the club and if he is told to do something by the right people he will do it.

Moyes is not without fault here.

Nothing desperate about signing Ozil, he's very very good and will add much needed quality in our squad and some depth....

Keep telling yourself that and then look at the position of all the players (all 10001 of them) you failed to sign first before spending £40m+ on a player Real didn't want.

cm is Woodward

Oh dear god you've hit the jackpot

Technically, Woodward is the string puller. Although he does answer to people, he's in control of that there warchest and what we spend.

"If a club gets a 'deal-sheet' into the Premier League before 2300 BST they can keep working on the fine details of a transfer after the deadline.

"The deal-sheet has to be signed by the buying and selling club and the player and must include the agreed terms of fee and wages. If that is completed correctly and is in before 2300, clubs will be granted extra time.

"If it is an international transfer deal, the clubs have until midnight, because that is when Fifa's Transfer Matching System closes. If it is a domestic deal, the clubs have until 0100 BST."

If we've got Coentrao and Fellaini, I will be a happy United fan as long as Cleverley and Welbeck are nowhere near the starting 11, cmon Vidic, "accidentally" injure them in training.

So Arsenal get rid of 17 players and we bring in 4 players, 2 on a freebie, one on a loan and the other a £42mill signing :D

Says more about you as you have now posted much the same thing twice now;). Nothing desperate about signing Ozil, he's very very good and will add much needed quality in our squad and some depth.

Only thing I'm a tad bit disappointed with is our lack of signing a striker/forward this summer but Giroud will hopefully come through with more goals this season. Funny how last yr after RVP left, people were saying who is going to score goals for us only for us to score more this past season than the season we had RVP:p

So don't worry about where and how we spend our money ;)

Don't get me wrong, he's a class act and I can't wait to see him in the premiership, but it's hard to deny that you need a decent CM (althought I think Flamini was a smart move here), a new full back, arguably a centre back and keeper, and another striker.

Fellaini cost too much but what makes me feel a little better is that Wigan did the same to Everton
