This has been the best deadline day from. An everton fan POV.

Fellaini gone for 27.5m hahaha , panic buy much Moyes? And to cap that off it appears Anichebe has also gone, how awesome is that!

McCarthy in, Barry and lukaku on loan, im generally happy with this. Hopefully convert all our possession in games with goals now.

More on United imposters.

Daniel Taylor ‏@DTguardian now

#MUFC now confirm they were falsely represented by fake officials for Herrera.

"I think we're going to hear a lot more about this in the coming days. The details are a bit sketchy but I've just had it confirmed from Old Trafford that the people who were in Spain, apparently negotiating on their behalf for Ander Herrera, were not sent there by the club and can accurately be described as 'impostors'.

Who on earth they were, no idea. But clearly they were trying to get in on the deal and it has ended in embarrassment for everyone. I get the feeling United are furious.

Their official explanation is that they simply couldn't persuade Bilbao to bring down the buyout clause and it was as straightforward as that (even though there is a clause, it doesn't mean the potential buyer has to meet it). However, there have clearly been all sorts of fun and games going on in the background and it's an embarrassment, to say the least."

Well there's surely no way, SSN, that Man U didn't beat the deadline for Fellaini, the embarassment would be unimaginable...
The only thing I can think of is Kenwright went and sold the fax machine down at Cash Converters to help fund the McCarthy transfer

I rather they play Kagawa more than buy Fellani.

I actually think that Fellaini will add steel to the midfield, allowing them to play Kagawa in the free role he needs.

Doesn't mean they'll play him though. Can't believe you let Powell go on loan, surely if Cleverley gets injured he's one of the next in line, depending on Anderson's fitness?

Was chatting with a guy at work earlier and we reckon it will probably be Cazorla left, Ozil central, Walcott right. Personally I think Cazorla left is a massive waste because being two-footed he is a total revelation in central areas being able to ghost past players either way and shoot/pass on either foot with no disadvantage - unlike 90% of players defenders showing him to one side or the other is a complete waste of time. I can't see Wenger ditching his 4-2-3-1 and despite his experiment last season I also can't see him picking Walcott ahead of Giroud at centreforward (nor should he).

Podolski on the other hand seems to have fallen massively out of favour even before his injury.

The weakest link is Walcott, but can't see Wenger ever falling out of love with him. Podolski will forever remain an 81st minute sub. Shame because he's quality.

More on United imposters....

It didn't get much attention but our signing of Aspas was reported to have had some weird **** going on. We supposedly agreed the transfer with an agent that wasn't his actual agent and the deal was delayed for a week or so because of that.

The bit about the delay is 100% true - we announced a deal had been agreed but the deal wasn't finalised for sometime after. The official line was the club was waiting for documentation to be signed off.

What about Evra as a winger? ( to save his legs / energy some?)

He's be a terrible winger, he's very one footed. The only reason he does well is that he has someone in front of him and he can overlap. He's as much a winger as Phil Jones is a midfielder, or Welbeck is....well you can complete that sentence.

It seems as if we need a token left back signing each summer suddenly

Impostors.

There were actually people posing as part of our club officials to try and get in on a deal. There were genuine impostors.

What.

The.

****.

So we potentially haven't bought anyone and now we are reduced to getting loan signings in. Wow, just wow.

moyes was clearly desperate to sign anybody by overpaying.

who were the people in here saying no way is De Rossi worth £10 million?

LMAO

i would rather have De Rossi and £17 million in the bank than Fellaini tbh
