Statisticians Opta: 11 - Marouane Fellaini scored 11 PL goals last season, only one Man Utd midfielder (Kagawa, 6), scored more than two. Welcome.

Kagawa was our top scorer from midfield?!? He barely seemed to play!
3 of them were in the 4-0 win against Norwich though :p

It doesn't look like it or at least it seems to have been lost within the sea of signings. No body seems to know anything, a lot of people reckon it was a smokescreen to get Whelan to play ball on McCarthy.

I'm still hopefuly he'll turn up in the morning though, Fellaini did when we signed him! :D

I heard that while McCarthy was not dependent on selling Fellaini, Fernando was... But it's gone quiet there, unless it's being ironed out now...

Thanks :)

He's going bonkers about McCarthy for 12m and the number of Wigan players jumping ship to you now :D

I think this imposter stuff is nobody in Spain knowing who David Moyes is and/or still can't believe he's got the Utd job.

LOL its been an absolutely disasterous summer for Utd, they definitely need to strengthen especially after they lost to you lot yesterday.

I said it to a few of my Utd supporting mates that losing Fergie is seriously going to cost you in terms of getting players that you want. Doesnt help that Gill left around about the same time as Fergie as he was the guy who got the players and deals done...similar to what David Dein used to do for us at Arsenal before he jumped ship.

Have we definitely got Fellaini by the way because I can't find anything to suggest that we have for sure and yet all over the BBC people are talking as if its a done deal.

27 million, **** off they paid that much!

Dear Moyes,

I was wrong for hating on you for signing that complete pile of ****. For 5 years I have been wondering how and who allowed you to spend 15 million on such a clumsy ****. I thought Yakubu was a **** up but my god on this one you made a profit.

My apologies for doubting you. Now can you buy all the strikers off us you have ****ed up over the years for almost double?

Thanks for the lols

Danny

P.s I'm not surprised you like Welbeck, he's a striker you can't **** up. He's already broken!

No official confirmation yet, sounds like it's done though.

Coentrao up in the air as well.

It didn't have to cost us. United are still the biggest club in the PL so if we don't get players it is because they don't want to leave their parent club, we are not offering the wages they want or we are not meeting the clubs valuation.

Top players have gone to Russia for christs sake. We could have but didn't is basically a summary of this window.

One thing ill add is that even though im happy we got Ozil, i still think we need a striker/forward...perhaps Wenger will do some business in Jan depending on how well Giroud does for the first half of the season but so far Giroud looks good but will be a RVP type of player??, i honestly dont know as he can be quite fustrating to watch when he misses a sitter or 2:p.

In all honesty, we should have just given Chelsea £3mill to take Demba Ba on loan, would have been a good backup to Giroud and given him some rest in the league cup games.

Sounds like #MUFC may well have ran out of time to sign Fabio Coentrao from #RMCF. Season-long loan fee is/was £6m. Not cheap.

This was the 'line' coming out of Everton that was given to Vinny O'Conner and Juliette Ferrington, I don't really believe it because we surely would have got McCarthy earlier on, unless it was a plan to stop Whelan from going mad on the fee. But from what I said earlier to Baz about the rumour of us possibly having money to spend now there's a slim possibility. I am hoping for a big announcement on the OS in the next few hours with 4 players being confirmed once everything has been sorted! :D

Thanks :)

Yeah it's a stupid amount of money. Lukaku on loan has eased my anger though!

It looks like Sanogo will be getting games lol.

Some confusion though over whether Chelsea pulled the plug on that one with not letting him go to a rival, or that Arsenal wouldn't pay the loan fee. Or both?
