Meh anyhow if rumours are true that Sanchez is staying, I suppose that's better than nothing but not sure how it's going to work out for us this season. He doesn't want to be at Arsenal so maybe we should just sell him to city. But then that leaves us with really no one to replace him unless we spend a stupid amount of money.

Lemar is good but not £90mill worth good imo, he has his age going for him so I guess he could be something special in the future.

Gotta love transfer deadline day, always an anti climax for us Arsenal fans.
 
SSN now reporting that a deal for Lemar is very unlikely. It's stupid of Arsenal to leave it until the last day. Clearly City bought B.Silva earlier in the window because they knew that Monaco were going to get raided for players and would a) have a limit as to how many players they were willing to let go, and b) because they knew it was more likely Monaco would sell if they had time to replace the player. Plus, France have a WC qualifier tonight so from a logistical point of view it's probably making the deal much harder.

edit: Sanches has only gone on loan to Swansea The_One. I agree that it's a great loan signing though.
 
No more incomings for Liverpool it seems. Michael Edwards needs to go on holiday now to make sure there's no temptation to cash in on Coutinho.

You've pulled out of the Lemar deal because he wanted to join Liverpool :p
 
being an Arsenal fan is a rollercoaster at times, I don't think we will get anyone in and I still think they will let sanchez go 1. for the money and 2. he isn't happy and clearly looked disinterested against Liverpool

Given our priorities before the window opened were a defensive midfielder and a defender I'll not be overly impressed if that's our lot.

Salah will no doubt improve us but we're not getting Keita until next summer and I wasn't a great fan of Ox at Arsenal so we've not really improved the squad a great deal imo.
