"Seven days in the Sun" - Feeder

Top choice sir!!

Saw them at the NEC Arena the other week, bloody fantastic as always.

Bit of a random one that reminds me of lazy summer days at Sixth Form... Underdog Project - Summer Jam

Chicane :) I prefer Offshore.

Pretty much any Chicane stuff makes good listening. I took both "Far from the Maddening Crowds" and "Behind the Sun" albums to Florida with me a couple of years back. The villa had a top notch sound system with speakers in the garden and near the pool, so spent many an afternoon soaking in the rays listening to those :)

edit: another pretty random one - Wes - Alane (Club Mix-Short Version)
edit some more: Roger Sanchez - Another Chance (Radio Club Mix)
and: DJ Pied Piper & The Master Of Ceremonies - Do You Really Like It <oh dear.... so bad it's pretty good!!>
and: Daft punk - One More Time (or Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger or Digital Love)

and finally for now.... (not seen this mentioned yet, imho best so far...): Bob Marley vs. Funkstar Deluxe - The Sun is Shining

Hmmm:

Vehicles and Animals by Athelete is a summer thing for me.
Deckchairs and Cigarettes by The Thrills.

Pretty poor suggestions but I'm thinking of betters... :D

Seem to be missing some classics so far, along with all the great suggestions so far (though I'm making notes so I can grab a few songs ready for the OMGWTFBBQ sing song evening)

Beach Boys (well.. pretty much most of their tracks but):

Good Vibrations
Sloop John B
Fun, Fun, Fun

Oh.. and an odd one most of you probably won't remember:

Delirious? - Waiting for the summer.

Cast no shadow - Oasis

Doesn't fit the mold, but special to me. I can clear as day remember listening to this as I walked home from college on the last day of term. Not a care in the world and 6 weeks of summer freedom ahead......was 10 years ago! where did the time go? :(

Bryan Adams - Summer of '69!
Lisa Stansfield (ColdCut) - People Hold On
B52's - Loveshack
KC and the Sunshine Band - Walking on Sunshine
All Saints - Pure Shores

Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day
A Guy Called Gerald - Voodoo Ray
Happy Mondays - Loose Fit
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Daft Punk - Around The World
The Doors - People Are Strange
The Doors - Riders On The Storm
The Doors - When The Music's Over
David Holmes - Gritty Shaker
The Rock Steady Crew - Hey You
Kasabian - Processed Beats

The Stranglers - Golden Brown
10CC - Dreadlock Holiday

I was going to suggest Mungo Jerry, but that car crash ad from a few years back ruined it for me.

Robert Miles - Children

Groove Armada - Everybody Looks the Same

Dont know artist name - Tough at the Top(Tough at the Bottom)

JaRule & Christina Milian - Everything Little Thing That We Do

Christina Milian - Whatever you want I Got It (I think thats what its called)
