On a serious note, there was research undertaken at Boston University by Doctor Michael Holick, where he conluded there were health advantages to exposure to UV light.

However he was sacked after publishing this. Almost every other medical source whines on about it being damage to the skin. Which it is. But quite frankly I'd rather have a few more wrinkles than a face resembling a pepperoni pizza. Theres nowt wrong with vainity.

I take it in the bum on a regular basis.

And by that I mean I use sunbeds (not sunbed's I hasten to add) from time to time. A mate of mine works at a gym and gets me them on the free, and I kinda like having a bit of colour to my skin, especially as I'm usually quite pale.

Granted, if you walk around with bleached hair, 3/4 length trousers and a vest then you deserve to be accused of batting for the other team (and possibly a beating) but I'm not against the odd blast every couple of weeks.
