She told me how she was brought up in NZ and wearing sun cream every day was a way of life and how nice it was not to have to do that while staying in Scotland. Silver clouds eh.
One last one - a friend was cutting down some weeds in his garden in the sun and he got fried, like badly fried but patchy and blistered. Turned out he had been cutting down some giant hogweed - if it's juices (sap?) gets on your skin and you're exposed to the sun you're in for a real bad day.

It was the first time I ever saw how bad sunburn could be for some people. I always thought people made a bigger deal than it was about it but it looked awful lol. Literally looked like a squashie
