Sunburn

If you itch then lanacane is your best and probably only option.

Otherwise it'll drive you nuts so best get some.

go to Egypt and experience 50c.

Or go somewhere humid and experience 35 degrees. 50 Degrees in the desert is quite nice, bit of a shock when walking out of an air conditioned office though!

I love all the tough guys around here, it'll explain why I always see so many burned people out and about in summer! (Yeah I do wear sun lotion if I'm out for more than a couple of hours in the summer. I feel sorry for all you people that burn now though!):p

Wet cloth over affected area for 15- 20 minutes to remove heat , then lightly put on after sun clears my sunburn up within day or two :)

See I cope better with drier heats that's experience abroad, compared to the humid heats we often have over here.

For starters I recommend P20 for sunscreen, its awesome stuff once used you will never go back. Genuine once a day stuff, Ive used it in the Caribbean and as a "whitey" very rarely get any sunburn with it.

Now if you do actually get burnt you want Lidocaine. You canget aftersun with Lidocaine in it in US but not in the UK. You can however get Lidocaine cream over the counter and that will nuke sunburn.

I always buy some Lidocaine aftersun in Caribbean and bring it home, its typically in the UK I suffer sunburn as just under estimate 30 mins in the mid day sun occasionally. Some tanning shops also sell Lidocaine based products I am told but never actually been to get any there, although I would if I was burn't and it was only option.

I got out onto the lawn in just my shorts at 10.45am this morning without any cream on. :D
The first bit of sun my body has seen this year and I'm that pale I'm almost see-through.
Moobs started going red at about 12.30 so thought that was enough for the first day. :D
Expecting I'd overdone it.. but the redness has gone already. :D
Roll on next weekend.

Haha, see the secret is to always wear a T-Shirt... I have a whitey white body but my arms and face are always perpetually tanned (really odd, I've had numerous people comment in group photos as to how tanned it is...). Unfortunately I looked in the mirror the other day and got a shock... My face has got nice and tanned from the sun over the last week or two, my neck... White as a feather... Must be to do with the jacket collar.:(

How the hell do you get burnt in the UK in April? Do you also get burnt if you stand in front of the fridge with the door open too long? :p

Due to regular sunny holidays I have never burnt in the UK... Canary Islands midsummer however.... OUCH

Being as I was TRYING to get some sun on my body, a T-shirt really wouldn't have helped much.
I wasn't gardening or anything. I went out there and led on the lawn on a beach towel for a couple of hours.
