Superb must have accessory for the ps3, for PC gamers, and FPS freaks!

I think he did actually. He was saying if the kits was for 360, many owners (not fanboys mind you) would say it is a good thing, even though it might not be.
Are these the same 360 owners that said prior to the consoles launch that they hope they don't allow mouse and keyboard, even after it was rumoured that UT3 was gonna get it?

How about the same users who were against Shadowrun being M+K vs Controller and just want to play controllers?

Many people have continually praised the use of controllers only for online play of which I am one of them. Everytime someone has asked whether it will ever be available, or if you could they have been shot down (the last example of this was last night infact, on these forums).

Personally, I am happy to pay £40 a year to keep an even playing field than nothing for an unfair arena.

It's a console, not a PC. You put a mouse with it and you have to play at a desk. That's not what console gaming is about.

Giving it a mouse doesn't make it a PC!! And you can use a mouse without a desk so long as it comes with a hard surface to move it on (didn't you see the picture of the product?) ;)

If console's came with a mouse (or comparatively accurate device) it would open up a lot of new possibilities for the platform, and give some of us the control options we LIKE BEST.

As for those of you who claim it's unleveling the playing field - of course it is, but at the end of the day the product is here, now, being used, and there isn't a damn thing any of us can do about it, like it or not. So as it gets more popular, you can jump on the bandwagon, or stay off it if that's what suits you. Whining won't change anything

Jeez, you don't hear footballers call 'cheating' if the opposition has a better pair of boots!

No, but sitting at a desk makes it even closer to it.

Give me a couch, a 32" or larger screen, and a control pad over crouching over a desk any day of the week.

As above, I'd rather have fun with a control pad. As soon as you put a mouse and keyboard in hand it becomes all too serious. I've also mentioned that it would remove the level playing field, which is something I am really fond of.

We, or atleast most of us, aren't whining, we are debating and conversing over it... oddly enough, that is the purpose of a forum. The comments started leaning on Xbox360 users who have maintained they are happy with a control pad. If Sony want to allow keyboards and mice, fine. They just won't be having me play as many games on multiplayer... but, hey, atleast it's free.

They all wear boots though. You'd hear complaints if some wear only socks and others nothing. If you want to try and come up with an accurate representation then you'll have to try harder than that.

Keyboard doesn't, mouse does.

Yeah I missed that out. :o

Is suck at words :( :p

As said, single player would be fine, having it in multiplayer would just open up the ground and expose hell.

Quite right. I'm glad Microsoft aren't dabbling with all this as I'd be pretty annoyed. Just goes to show MS are confident that their controller is great and Sony know their's is a complete piece of crap.

Is that the same way they think there Console is reliable ? The 360 controller is good at FPS, PS3 better at fighting and footy games, everything else is about the same in my opnion. Anyway I didnt think Sony had released this? I thought it was made by Splitfish. Microsoft dont want other companies to use their wireless tech unless they pay a big fee to them. Maybe thats why the Rockstar extra controllers are $20 more than the PS3.
Anyway back to this i saw this a while ago and thought it was a good idea, I can see where people are coming from with it being unbalanced but where in a PC game is there the ability to say i got an £10 opti mouse and they got a £80 gaming mouse? I know its not quite the same but it still makes it easier with the gaming mouse.

No they know it's got huge problems and increased the warranty accordingly.

Its good they increased the warranty, But i think it shouldn't cost the consumer. It costs £30 to get the extended warranty.

And considering the problem is known the Extended warranty should be packaged with the console at no extra cost.

I want a 360, and when i get one, i'll be purchasing the extended warranty. Definately. I'm willing to pay the £30. But it doesnt stop me thinking, i'm paying for something i shouldnt have to pay for. :)

I'm not talking about the extended warranty. They originally only have 3 months or something and extended it to 1 year for all consoles.

The extended warranty is what you make of it. You don't have to get it really, you can just shout the sales of goods act at them and they cave.

If the console remains popular and people still buy it while it has big failure rates like this then they're only doing sensible business to charge for it.

Who said PC gaming is fair? We said 360 gaming is fair and we'd liek to keep it that way.

Only in the US. In Europe it's always been 1 year.

Considering loads of big games coming out are FPS I'd love to see the PS3 controller get a redesign, it's just plain crap for FPS games it really is terrible.

Mind you I can't think of any decent FPS games that are PS3 exclusives so obviously I'll just get the 360 version, which will probably end up superior anyway. :o
