I don't get this, despite watching it every time it's on :D

Great excuse for food and munch and some company :)

Why do they keep stopping play so much!
 
THey have so many atempts to get 10 yards in front, kind of like rugby league have so many tackles to forward before the ball is turned over. the number e.g. 1st and 10, or 3rd and 2
means the attempt number and how many yards they have left. so 1st go, 10 yards to go, or 3rd go 2 yards to go as in my example.

I'm yet to work out why they stop so often though.

Right now, 'inches' means very close lol.

This is a sport and entertainment, nothings happend, considering its the biggest final in American sport.
