Superman demo on live

i was hoping it to be much much better than that :(

its fun but the graphics could be a lot better if i was playing it on the ps2 i would be happy....

also some of the stuff i want to do when flying i cant..... loops and stuff and landing can be annoying when going fast

and i want to run on water lol

other than that its alreet

has nothing on the spiderman games.... bring on spiderman 3 :p

Just had a quick go on the demo this evening and wasnt really impressed to say the least.
The graphics are nothing special, and whilst it was kinda fun it wasnt as fun as other free roaming games.
The flying was ok but the the fighting aspects werent too good, maybe there'll be more in the full game? Not a game I'll be buying I don't think, at least on the basis of the demo.
 
played it through twice just to get a proper feel to the game.

Graphics are ok, flying was cool (ecpecialy when hitting the sound barrier)
Fighting is abit touchy.

Destroyable buildings would be a massive bonus (flying through them at high speed!!!)

Demo leaves you on a clif hanger.

Hope theres more in the full game tho.
 
hmmmm the demo was fun and decent looking in the air but on the ground dear god it looked rubbish.

The special effects were excellent though.

Is this a cross platform game?
 
well managed to crash mine :p

tried to fly up into space, and after a while gave up and started to fly down then the whole screen went black.... had ot quit the game and reload it :p
 
In the video that plays at the end of the demo, did any of you notice how some of it looked much better than other parts?

I kinda of hoping that it will improve in the final release as it's pretty poor at the moment.

Yea ive had the main theme tune on :D

i love if you hover above the city the camera starts rotating around likes he looking for trouble.

I heard superspeed can be upgraded aswell :D i love hitting all 3 sonic booms and just crusing around the city.

In honesty ive found this more fun then Gears of War... lol

Haha I've been doing the same. Just floating above the city being all Supermany. I think its done a great job of capturing what people want in a Superman game, aside from X-Ray vision at the womens gym ;) I don't quite get the point of the drift feature where it looks like he's skidding in mid air.
 
The only thing i wish is that you *could* be bad, like dropping people at great heights, and have the city more destructable, i wanna fly through a building, i want cars that dont look like bricks.

The graphics in many ways let it down, but a lot of the gameplay is captured well, and much easier to get to grips with then previous Superman games.

Certainly a step in the right direction anyway - not to convicfend about Metropolise being in a cavern almost, you know that dam will come into play during the game :D

Still though its SOOOO much fun to play, cant wait for the full release :D
 
Downloaded this the other night and was kinda fun but not that impressed with it tbh. The only fun bit was breaking the sound barrier as you hurtle up through the sky but sadly it doesnt let you go into space...now that would be tres cool if they have that in the game itself.

All in all its an ok-ish demo..nothing amazing. Played it for about 10 mins then got bored of it and deleted it...
 
im a big superman fan, so i feel like a big kid playing it

Graphicly - poor
Animations - poor
Fighting - poor
Sound - good, but no theme tune.
Gameplay - YOUR SUPERMAN IT ROCKS :D:D:D

Ive had more fun on this demo (played it about 25times) then i did playing GoW...how sad
