Great review of these super fast SSDs.
Reading around the web it looks like they will be out very soon.

So very tempted myself to buy a couple of these beasts !
Whats the chances of our Overclockers getting them into the UK :D
Looks like a 60GB and 120GB Will be released, With an appealing price tag for SLC Drives.

Let's sum up how hard these articles are shilling:

1) These drives will be at least two or three times more expensive than other similar sized drives. Why not put it up against products it's actually priced against?

2) The "amazing" results on the incompressible data tests are easily reproducible by turning off Sandforce compression (this highlights the costly writing + latency of MLC flash). The Plextor M5 Pro gets similar speeds out of MLC by turning off compression - at much lower cost.
It is notable that the M5 Pro is definitely cheaper than these drives, available today, has higher capacity and has similar performance.

3) Sandforce in Enterprise without Supercap? Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope.

So who is left to buy this product?
A very, very, very small market of people who need an SSD for high-data turnover (100s of GB a day) but without the reliability of an actual Enterprise disk.

I am disappointed in Tweaktown and Expreview for obviously shilling.

If you really want to use the sandforce controller plus high prices a basic 120gb Revodrive will easily out perform it for about the same price.
