Does anyone know if Jack3ed is similar to n.o.x. or which one to go for?
Recently started going to the gym to bulk up and a friend recommended n.o.x. Had it once and it seemed to make a big difference to the workout, was able to do a lot more.
 
N.O.X (Dorian Yates, I'm assuming as opposed to BSN's N.O.Xplode?) is a pump supplement. From what I've read in this very thread is that jack3d is a pre work out formula to enhance focus, energy and endurance as opposed to pump specifically.

So in a way I guess it kind of is. Are you after a pump or a pre workout?
 
Yeah, N.O.Xplode was the one.

I'm after something to take before working out I guess, had a quick read over and by the sounds of it Jack3d seems pretty good

In regards to N.O.Xplode I'd recommend trying Phd V-max pump or Superpump 250. Those are the only two I've tried and are both similar. I preferred V-max as SP250 gave me a mental crash the first time I used it. Both were good though.

I now buy the raw 4 main ingredients and just mix up my own.

If you want a little bit more focus grab some Taurine, some Beta-Alanine + AAKG + Citrulline Mallate too if you want to mix your own.
 
I've used loads (most? lol) of the pwo supps out there. Superpump is one of THE very best for sure.

There re other good options, some of which have been mentioned here in this thread.
 
N.O Xplode was awesome, I loved it, but...

Any day I took it, I could guarantee I'd have an epic case of the squits the following morning
 
Probaly just buying the ingredients. However I brought large quanities of them so had enough to last me 5-6 months. As you know bulk makes it cheaper so in small quanitites it might not be.
 
Let me ask you a question, howcome when I write something do you two have to reply with a sentance that goes somewhat like this...."Trying not to sound like a **** but your obviously an idiot"...thats how you both come across to me, and I know for a fact you wouldnt dare speak to me like that in person, infact you probably wouldnt speak to anyone like that in person in real life because you'd get a punch, your just those sort of guys that talk all cocky and arrogant over the internet because your kids, and because you can, grow up and get a life, and this goes for the hundreds of other people on this forum and all other forums all over the world that act the same way...you should never speak online different to how you would speak to people in person.

Where do you guys buy your supplements from? I've never heard of some of these supplements being mentioned. I think i'm going back to taking EAA's. When i used Promax Aminos, the gains i got from them were amazing but for some reason my mind wandered and i started trying over stuff, but i've recently thought back on the supplements i've taken and EAA's were brilliant for me, especially taken with a banana before and after exercise.

I managed to bulk up and create definition and acquire some decent performance gains, i don't seem to get that now without using energy drinks.

Any one tried this? Seems like it would be a good replacement to breakfast/morning apple and get the protein in.

Don't replace proper solid food with shakes unless you really have to, by all means supplement your diet with them if you can't get all the protein you need in but dont take real food out to replace it was a shake.
 
Still eating breakfast, couldn't miss my branflakes/yogurt or porridge.
Just feel traing 3 or 4 times a week plus climbing and home exercises it would be benifical to add some more protein to my diet.
Quick summery of exercise:
monday home kettlebells and body weight
wed - 1 hour or kettlesbells then hour or more of muay thai.
thurs - climbing 2 hours
fri - same as weds
sat - same as monday
sun - climbing if i can find partners

If you want to use it in addition to a normal breakfast then its a nice blend, got a good blend of fast and slow release protein along with complex carbs and some EFA's.
 
Finally got back in the gym this week (been gone since June after moving house :() and just got some 80% Whey from http://www.bulksupplementsdirect.co.uk and just wanna say its DAMN TASTY!

I have the strawberry & cream flavour, its pretty nice tastes like strawberry shortcake yoghurt! Its ok with water but with milk its pretty heavenly. Similiarly my housemate has their Banana flavoured casein blend and it tastes just like McDonalds Banana Milk shake.

So if anyones looking for something different, give them a try. Be warned, they ship in bags so make sure you've got some empty tubs or other storage once it arrives!
