Get your neighbour to nip in with the spare key and start the download at 5:30 for you and it will be mostly done by the time you are back hopefully.

The Supreme Commander Multiplayer Beta will be extended for several more days, as GPG continues to test back-end systems related to game reports and statistics collection and display.

A final closure date has yet to be determined, but will be announced in advance of the date itself, so everyone can get their final games in.

At this point, GPG is relying on beta testers to hammer specific features, which will change from day-to-day. Please keep checking this space for news and information about daily tests requested.

Thanks for continuing to take part in the beta!

That's not good news surely? It's gone gold so any bugs they haven't fixed will need to be patched?

It seems as though they are looking to tests the stats (remote?) systems, which they only put on a feature a few weeks ago so no big trouble there. In the chat rooms, the topic has been they want 2vs2 arranged games to see that the stats for them are working, for a few days now, too. I wouldn't get worried

Nope no such luck.. I've put it down to a borked card! What card and drivers are you using?

Weird thing is, one of the very early beta versions works.. Now the later ones and even the demo doesn't, I don't hold much hope for the final game.

Have got it on order so was going to replace my X1900XT for an 8800GTS as a stopgap until the R600 drops in price enough.. Trouble is that means I have to change my waterblock as well which is a bit of a ballache. Was hoping this X1900 would last for another few months, but if I can't play SupCom with it then it needs to go... All my other games work fine with it though! :confused:

tryed underclocking it a bit?

Install the latest version of direct x 9. December version i beleive.

I'll give that a go, have tried it with the graphics at stock but not the CPU.

I thought SupCom installed that? I'll hunt it down anyway and give it a go.

Just seen there is a 02/02/07 version.. I'll try that.

Edit: No joy still.. Looks like its not meant to be.

Have you tried fully uninstalling your previous drivers to begin with?

I would uninstall all your graphic drivers then reinstall them again.

found a fix. Its not the card or an overclocking issue.
I have ati tray tools installed. you have to turn Geometry instancing on
then reinstall the game.

Works a treat now.

Hmm Geometry Instancing is greyed out on mine...
