Surround Sound and HiFi Cable

One of the best speaker cables is Kimber Kable, this is a review from Audioholics with measurements. Audioholics also use Kimber Kable on their high end installs, and have said the only reason it's not always used on installs is due to cost.

hahahahaha

I think we are overthinking this. I really doubt if there will be any notable difference between the cables. As good as radius speakers are for entry level listening, running room correction will likely negate any if any sound difference made by either silver or copper cable. Just buy a cable that is thick enough for you run with decent shielding that would fit under skirt boards, floor etc. Personally even with my Yamaha As3000 amp and Dali Epicon 2s speakers, the cable makes a little difference. In order of having the biggest quality on sound:
1. Speakers
2. Speaker placement
3. Room acoustics
4. AMPS (serious law of demolishing return after £1,000) Then you have to double the budget for 10-20% better sound which is subjective as it is.
5. DACs (no noticeable difference after £300 dedicated DAC more or less taste)
Cables
6. Speaker cables (anything that costs more than £5 a meter you're paying for brand and how it looks).

People will tell you what to buy purely on fact because they got x product so you should too. In reality most of us like to justify our purchase, what deal we got and how well it sounds. I got my amp and speakers because I liked the way they looked + sounded, would I spend this amount of money again, hell no. Nonetheless I have enjoyed my journey, it was fun! Thus buy the cable and enjoy the speakers. Hope this helps.

Sure it does
Watch the video I posted from Audioholics, they show measurements. They also explain why it's used on their high end installations.

You need to get over that some of these higher end products do actually improve audio

Anyhow you don't need better cable to improve your audio, your priority is getting rid of these £10 homebase mains extensions that are killing your audio. The sad thing is your don't understand by how much as your so closed minded you'll never even experiment with anything better.

I'm also sure we've done this point before, but since you like quoting Gene, why don't you listen to his advice:

Honestly, for AV set up cables such as from Kabeldirect which can be purchased on rainforest are a reasonable solution. Make sure you buy a decent thickness for long runs. 2.5mm seems like a sweet spot between retaining sound quality and fitting between side skirts etc., if you want to hide the cables.
I saw this and checked what I have been using for years, it's Fisual S-Flex Studio Grade White Speaker Cable 2 x 0.75mm..... for my rears and I think it's 15m or 10m at least....seems fine to me but now I'm thinking it's not!! Monitor audio bronze rears, the fronts I use thicker bi wire stuff...

You mean jacket, surely?

Shielding is a metal braid or foil wrap layer that surrounds the main conductor(s) and is separated from it by an insulator layer. It's grounded at both ends and protects very low voltage cables from electromechanical interference (EMI / RFI).

Speaker cables don't need this. Interconnects do, but speaker cables don't.
