Swansea City FC

Guys.....Football is a mans game!!!! and besides, the history between Swansea and Cardiff goes back years...plus, the train ban between Swansea/Bridgend was a direct snub to Jack fans....didn't stop 30,000 of them turning out though...Jacks are a breed apart, we dont encourage violence but we will speak our mind and let our feelings known.

Coming from a lad who sits on the forums and doesn't go to games,

Probably born in wolves lives in wolves and follows united.


Trundle deserves a 5 match ban, now **** the play offs up

"We" is an lifelong Arsenal fan (Season Ticket Holder) born in Swansea, Uncle played Centre-back for Swansea when they were top of Division One (Back in late 70's/Early 80's) and Both my parents are current season ticket holders for Swansea FC and my sister is a Steward at The Liberty Stadium...What can I say, my heart beats for the both....But my soul is gunner.

What has any of that got to do with what im on about?

Which is pointing out its one more cup than you have won for how many years

Which leads me onto the point, why are you trying to **** on the dudes
thread anyway? His team have won a cup so hes happy and wants to
post a thread, there is no need for a pedantic little arse like you having a go
 
But its ok for a team (Trundle) to display a message saying **** OFF Cardiff


They all deserve to be fined and hit with a 3 pt deduction.

Agreed, however this is the Welsh FA we're talking about...

For those that didn't hear about it, towards the end of last season, Trundle was sent off with a straight red for a two-footed tackle against a Rochdale player. Swansea appealed, and after reviewing video evidence, the FA decided to uphold the original decision. Several days later, the the Welsh FA over-turned the original red card, and rescinded a number of yellow cards Trundle had received earlier in the season. As a result, courtesy of the Welsh FA, Trundle therefore avoided a three-match ban (which would have had a massive impact on Swansea's chances of promotion), effectively meaning he was available to secure promotion for Swansea.

Therefore, based on these previous events, the the welsh FA will no doubt hand out a club fine...but i’d be very surprised if they hand out any kind of points deduction or match ban to harm their chances of promotion.

(And no...these aren't sour grapes, ...seeing as Swansea beat us to 4th place last season!!) :p :p
 
This is the same Welsh FA that said let the English FA deal with Gary Monk who was sent off last season, they gave him 3 match ban. Welsh FA then said oh thats not good enough, and gave him another 6 game ban on top.

There is no Welsh FA, it's Cardiff FA, they hate our guts and will do anything to stop us going up etc

They fined us £15'000 when our mascot stepped on the pitch after we scored a goal, I'm, talking about just across touchline not middle of pitch. Cardiff riot against leeds, bottles of pee, hoarding thrown at leeds fans, and they get fined £20'000 after the Welsh FA told the english FA to mind their own business even though it was an FA cup game.

Sky Sports News - Swansea Duo Arrested

FAW charge Swans duo

Swansea City and two of their players, Lee Trundle and Alan Tate, have been charged by the Football Association of Wales following the Football League Trophy on Sunday.

It has also been reported that the police have arrested the Swans duo to discuss their alleged misdemeanours.

The FAW were quick to launch an investigation into incidents which followed the Trophy final, which was played at The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Trundle, who was seen wearing an abusive T-shirt aimed at rivals Cardiff City - also held a flag, along with Tate, which had an expletive on it, again which was offensive towards The Bluebirds.

Now the FAW have confirmed that both the club and their two stars have been charged.

"The Football Association of Wales has concluded that charges will be issued against Swansea City FC and two of their players Lee Trundle and Alan Tate," said an FAW statement issued by secretary general David Collins.

"These charges are in connection with the events which followed the conclusion of the Football League Trophy Final."

Looking that way now after todays results. Bristol City could also still be in with a shout (have to rely on others caving in). With the other divisions ups and downs just about sorted, it's still all to play for, both top and botom, in Div 1.

Yes every team should have one of those flags, Cardiff are ****. Lovely fans though, tried to give me many gifts of money, chairs, bottles of ****, and then about half the carpark out the back a couple of years back.

Doesn't seem as if they need the 3 pt deduction as they are determined to throw the playoffs away anyway :D
