Not sure if the picture is clear enough but is the swirl here producing too many bubbles. Water level is at top of window, what looks like the level lower down is a perspex platform.

Temporary setup outside box whilst testing for leaks. So far so good.

Its a vortex.

What pump do you have?

I bought a D5 with adjustable speed due to this reason.

You could fit a resister to reduce the voltage a little, may help.

Otherwise get a bigger res.

Very Pretty!

How long has it been together?
To me (As a none owner of that pump/res) it just looks like it needs some time to settle, both with it on and off (To give it time for the bubbles to travel to the top and then replace space with liquid etc)

I am no expert on small systems thou :)

It is an XSPC pump/res unit been in about 5 minutes :-) I'll leave it an hour or so and run it up for a while. Going to move the res/pump to the other side by thge cas window when it's all settled.
Unit is Sata powered - I can't find a Sata voltage regulator.
